Kenna
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kenna is our Licensed Veterinary Technician. She was born and raised in Alaska and has an innate love for nature and the outdoors. She has always been drawn to animals and the medical field and knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with animals. Her mother would bring Kenna along to veterinary visits for their pets growing up so she could watch and ask questions and also gave her an animal medical book that Kenna absorbed like a sponge.
Kenna graduated from PIMA in Las Vegas NV in 2010 and her favorite duties as an LVT are surgery and dentistry. Kenna sees each animal as an individual with individual personalities and she strives to make each experience in our hospital as stress free as possible.
Kenna has two fur children, Mukki and Sensi, that she cares for with her significant other Scotty. They love finding adventures with their dogs in nature and going on small road trips. Kenna also enjoys arts and crafts and relaxing at home with close family and friends and of course, her pets.
Mei
Practice Manager
Mei joins us all the way down from New Orleans, Louisiana and started her veterinary career as a veterinary assistant. With her passion for animals and strong leadership skills she quickly found her calling as practice manager. Mei ensures that daily hospital operations run smoothly and efficiently. When she isn’t snuggling pets, you can find Mei kayaking, hiking, crocheting, cooking, or out with her two sweet pups Nala and Niko.
Roni
Veterinary Assistant
Roni is a highly experienced veterinary assistant with over a decade of experience in the field. Her love for animals began at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. Roni's commitment to providing the best possible care for animals is evident in everything she does. She has worked with a wide variety of animals, from cats and dogs to exotic pets and wildlife. Roni is also a proud cat mom to five furry felines, who she adores and cares for deeply. Her expertise in animal care, combined with her love for animals, makes her an invaluable member of our veterinary team.
Aria
Veterinary Assistant
Aria is one of our skilled veterinary assistants at Rainier West. To Aria, the best part of her job is making a difference in the lives of the pets she sees. Whether it be preventative health care, helping a new life enter the world, or assisting an old friend pass with peace and dignity, her most important goal is to ensure that every pet gets the very best care.
When Aria isn't at the clinic, she enjoys going to the gym, snuggling with her pets and spending time with her family. Though she loves all animals, she has a special place in her heart for large breed dogs. Aria has two dogs, Mochi and Jet, as well as two cats, Luka and Gary.
Heather
Veterinary Assistant/CSR
Heather compliments our team as both a veterinary assistant as well as client service representative. She has lived in Washington for most of her life and has always had a huge spot in her heart for animals and nothing makes her happier than being able to help them every day. In her free time, she enjoys staying active mainly with golfing and caddying for her boyfriend as well as gaming on her PC. Heather has a spoiled tuxedo kitty at home named Bagheera that she loves dearly.
Brennah
Veterinary Assistant
Brennah joins us as Dr. Bauman's dedicated veterinary assistant, and has been in the veterinary field for eight years. She is a born and raised Washington native, and grew up participating in 4-H which led her to the decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Although Brennah enjoys all aspects of working as a veterinary assistant, she is passionate about preventative medicine. In her free time she enjoys joining her husband in camping, duck hunting, and hanging out with their three dogs, Porter, Griffey, and Brewer, in the woods or on the water. She also has three cats she adores at home named Whiskey, Nerf, and Schmitt.
Christy
Client Service Representative
Christy is our client service representative and brings a smile to all of our faces! When she's not at work, she enjoys growing flowers, especially dahlias. She also has a small garden spot for some vegetables. Christy enjoys kayaking and playing and loving on her two dogs, Wonder and Marley. Her happiest place is the beach.
Tehya
Kennel Assistant
Tehya is our Kennel Assistant here at Rainer West Veterinary Hospital. Tehya is excited to be able to learn about the veterinary field and help assist with providing care to your animals! When she is not working at the clinic she is focusing on her studies, spending time with family, practicing the guitar, hiking and cuddling with her pets Rosie, Mikey, Jaggo and Pearl.
